2nd NBFP Nordic-Baltic Arts Festivals Conference (2016)
The 2016 Conference of the NordicBaltic Festival Platform took place on
3-4 November in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Conference aims to bring together managers and artistic directors of festivals from all fields of art and culture to exchange ideas and best practices, make new connections and explore various possibilities for cooperation, and to visit some of the great arts shows in Vilnius.
The conference included:
- speeches by central figures on the Nordic-Baltic culture scene,
- discussions on how to attract people in the region to festivals, how to programme a Nordic-Baltic festival and how to use city space better in festivals,
- networking sessions for participants,
- presentations on funding possibilities,
- 5 project presentations from the region's festivals seeking new partnerships,
- short festival presentations with prior registration.
The conference was hosted by the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society.

All arts professionals were invited to take part in this one and only arts festivals conference of the Nordic-Baltic region.
The conference participation fees were set at three rates:
- 69 EUR early-bird rate through 1 October
- 109 EUR rate from 2 October - 23 October
- 139 EUR last-minute rate from 24 October through to the event
Conference participants were offered a discount rate of 69 EUR per night at the Conference hotel which was the Radisson Blu Royal Astorija Hotel.
